Determination of the amount that the person obliged to pay maintenance can contribute based on income and obligations.
The calculation of means determines how much the person obliged to pay maintenance can contribute to maintenance. This takes into account the net disposable income, reduced by necessary obligations such as housing costs, health insurance premium and the personal standard amount. The Tremanorm standards provide guidance for this.
