Penalty for breach of contact arrangement
A financial sanction imposed by the court for failure to comply with a contact or care arrangement.
A penalty is a monetary fine imposed by the court for each violation of the established contact or care arrangement (Article 611a of the Dutch Code of Civil Procedure). The penalty is intended to enforce compliance. The amount can be set per violation or per day of violation.
