Family guardian
A child protection specialist who supervises a family under care supervision.
A family guardian (nowadays: child protection specialist) is a professional of a certified institution appointed in case of care supervision (Article 1:254 of the Dutch Civil Code). The guardian supervises care, supports the family and may issue written instructions that are binding on the parents.
