Supervision order

A child protection measure where a family guardian is appointed to support the family.

A supervision order is a child protection measure that the juvenile court can impose when a child is growing up in circumstances that seriously threaten their development. Under a supervision order, a certified institution is charged with family guardianship. The family guardian supports the family and can give instructions that parents must follow. Parental authority remains with the parents but is limited by the order. The measure lasts a maximum of one year and can be extended.

The juvenile court has imposed a supervision order for a duration of one year.
