Ouderschapsplan

Parenting plan

A mandatory document in divorce with minor children, containing agreements on care and upbringing.

A parenting plan is a mandatory document that parents must draw up during a divorce if they have minor children. The plan contains agreements on the division of care and upbringing tasks, the visitation arrangement, how parents inform each other about important matters, and child maintenance. The parenting plan must be submitted to the court with the divorce petition.

The judge cannot pronounce the divorce without a parenting plan having been drawn up.
