Alimony modification
Adjusting previously determined alimony when circumstances have changed.
Modification of alimony can be requested from the court when there is a relevant change in circumstances. Examples include: loss of income, new relationship, cohabitation, disability or reaching retirement age. The modification request must be supported by evidence. The judge assesses whether the changed circumstances justify a recalculation.
