Care arrangement

The agreements on how parents divide the daily care of their children after divorce.

The care arrangement (formerly contact arrangement) describes how parents divide the daily care of their children after divorce. Under Article 1:253a of the Dutch Civil Code, the child has the right to equal care from both parents. The care arrangement is set out in the parenting plan and can be established or modified by the court.

In the care arrangement it was stipulated that the children would spend three days with father and four days with mother.
